Whee! Stephie's down until Wednesday! *waves banner*

Lately things have been pretty hectic. On the upside, I finally got a computer, but I won't have internet access until this weekend. Right now I'm using the computer at Steph's house. Still, I don't have to go to other people's houses to type papers anymore (which means I'll have to find another excuse to bug Ben ^_^), and I have access to all of Mandy's mp3s, since the computer used to be hers. My favorite is "Fantastic Fabulous" by Luscious Jackson. Still, I hope Mandy will bring down all my files from my old computer and everything that I downloaded in Bumble so I can make the computer feel more like my own. I also can't wait to start downloading more mp3s.

Shiloh lent me "Vampire Hunter D" and "Princess Mononoke" on VHS. I watched "D" with Ben, Steph, Karol, and Ben's friend Anthony Saturday night. It was really good but kind of weird. I haven't watched the other one yet.

I'm really peeved at Preston right now because he's been totally ditching me lately, claiming he's insanely busy. I'm not worried about it, though- lately we've been getting into arguments because he doesn't know how to listen or when to shut up. Honestly, I don't like some of the things he's been saying lately, particularly about me and Ben. He needs to show a little more restraint. He's still my friend, though.

I came up with a new word today: "giggly-shy". It's like that feeling you get when someone you like is around and you don't know how to act but you're thrilled that they're there. I think it's a good word, and it will probably become as much a part of my vocabulary as "spoot" (watch "The Angry Beavers" if you don't know that one) or "meatball head" (Sailor Moon's nickname!). *waves banner*
