Okay, I'm really pissed right now because this is the second time I've had to write this entry since my computer is a *insert various curse words here*. So bear with me please.

I started my job in the lab yesterday. It's pretty interesting stuff. I get to see what kind of things go on in the lab, get familiar with the equipment, that sort of thing. I think I make my supervisor nervous though. He's a graduate student, totally geek rock, and he seems to have a problem with looking at me directly. Weird.

Guys in general really puzzle me lately. Max, who lives 2 floors down, seems intent on getting sympathy play from me by saying he's a loser and has no friends. It's not working. Ed, aka Quiet Catholic Boy Who's Never Kissed a Girl, has a pretty obvious crush on me but doesn't have to guts to do anything about it. And Mark hasn't called me since Thursday. I think he's mad at me or avoiding me or something.

Even Gigi's been weird lately. She seems to be under a lot of stress- at any rate, she hasn't been quite her usual fun-loving, friendly self.

Why can't we all just get along? All I want to do is finish the soundtrack for my (undrawn and incomplete) anime and maybe have a little fun in the meantime. *sigh*

At least me and Ben #2 are on good terms again. I visited him at Temple on Thursday and I hung out with him and a guy named Bob who went to high school with us. He's quite an interesting character. So we sat around, drank, snacked, talked, and played Grand Theft Auto 3. I was practically one of the guys, except I got hit on instead of pounded into a pulp. I stayed up until 5:30 am, slept over, came back to Penn Friday morning via train, and got to my 11 am math class about 10 minutes late with a hangover. Ah, college...

There are more squirrels on campus than I think I've ever seen in my entire life. You don't have to go to a frat party to observe the local wildlife afterall.

By the way, I highly recommend the Smashing Pumpkins song "To Sheila" from their album "Adore". Hell, I recommend the whole album, but that song is just really beautiful.

"To Sheila"[I would have just put a quote but the song's too pretty to write just a part of it down.]
